I too won my entry to fitmixer boot camp from a blog and like you I saw a lot of changes in my body. I did lose some weight, went down a size but the biggest change for me was what it did for my running. I really felt as though it improved my running immensely. I felt stronger, got faster and my endurance definitely improved. I did the eight weeks in addition to running at least 4 times a week and at times it was rough. I was getting up at 5:45 am every morning to "bootcamp" while my kids were sleeping and then after taking the kids to school I would either go outside for a run or run on the treadmill at the gym. By the end of the 8 weeks, (really by 7), I was really getting tired of working out by myself downstairs at home. I am a gym girl...I like my gym classes. I was glad to be done after 8 weeks to get back to the gym but I still intend on doing at least one boot camp workout a week. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone. :) Glad to have "met" you on the facebook page.

Wow, I think training for a half marathon shows an amazing amount of commitment regardless...at the very least you were out there motivating yourself towards your goals, which is what Fitmixer was trying to help us do...hope your race goes well...best of luck!!

It's so great that you showed so much commitment to fitmixer. I too won an entry to the bootcamp through another blog, but after 2 weeks my progress and commitment started going downhill. I will try to recommit when I'm not training for a half marathon.
